正在寻找教育孩子方法的家长，如果采用她那种极端的教育方法，很可能适得其反，不会得到好的结果，反而有虐待孩子的嫌疑。

If you are so confident about your parenting style, I am sure this book is not for you. I guess this book is for those who are still searching for the right balance, still searching for that right combination of western and chinese parenting philosophy, still searching for the right answer on how to raise a well-adjusted children. Whether her children is well-adjusted is not the point of the book.

7、9、10楼，你是很好的推销员，不厌其烦的推销这本书。不幸的是，我根本不同意她的观点，不可能看这本书。小孩该玩的时候玩，该学的时候学，其结果挺不错的，没有必要看别人怎样整治小孩。

<P>Actually I feel I should thank her for the marketing strategy. Without the pitch, I would miss the book, which I consider it is my loss, not hers. There is lots of food for thought in her book, even though  I have no intention to copy her action. Being a tiger mom requires tons of dedication and sacrifice. I am not sure average mom is ready for that even if this is the best parenting method in the world.</P>

I am not sure if she is a good mother.  But I am certain she is a smart salesperson.  Her provocative title has earned her so much attention and controversy, which is great for book sale - the more controversy the better the sales.
