亚裔中学生领导协会（ＡＳＬＡ）自去年１２月成功举办如何提高亚裔学生领导能力大型讲座以后，将于５月３１日上午９点至下午４点举办为期一天的 Leadership 强化培训。所请教授具有多年关于学生领导能力讲座和培训经验，一天费用仅 $25 (包括午餐)。目前只剩５个名额，详情如下，报名从速！！！

Student Leadership Development Workshop (Limited to 25 studetns)

Presented by: Asian Student Leadership Association (ASLA)

Do you want to build up your leadership skills for your school activities? Do you feel hesitant when you speak in front of people or lead a group discussion in your class? Do you need help to set up your personal goals for the future? If any of your answers are YES, this workshop may be a great opportunity for you.

After successfully organizing the Asian student leadership development seminar last December, ASLA is now honored to have Dr. Michael Hester provide this one day intensive workshop to cover the following topics via group seminar, team discussions, and hands-on activities:

Leadership qualities and characteristics
Leadership in community services
Leadership in public speaking
Leadership in personal vision
How to develop leadership skills
How to choose the right path based your strengths

Dr. Hester, a professor and dean of Honors College at the University of West Georgia, received his Master’s at the University of Georgia and his Ph.D. at Georgia State University in the field of Communication. As the Director of Debate at West Georgia, he took his team to finish in the top five of the nation 11 times out of 19 seasons, including two national championships. In the last twenty-five years, Dr. Hester has been also asked to lecture on debate and student leadership development at institutions such as Arizona State, UC Berkeley, Emory, UGA, the University of Iowa, and the University of Michigan. His unique knowledge and teaching experience will make this workshop very inspiring, educational, and interesting! Don’t miss it!

Cost:    $25 (Lunch is included, but you can bring your own if you like)

Requirement:    Students from rising 8thgrade and above , seats are limited to 25 students.

Registration:Deadline -Thursday, May 28th, $5 discount if registered before May 24th.
