Shaolin Institute’s Cultural Dissemination Activities – Mobile International Festival

Since 1983, Mobile International Festival has become the longest running festival on the Gulf Coast.  The festival provides the ambiance of world travel, and it gives the opportunity to meet people from over 70 countries face-to-face, a change to speak different languages, sample some delicious food, learn geography, history, art, social studies, music, science, and above all be inspired by our beautiful world and its people.

自1983年起，莫必尔国际国际艺术节已成为墨西哥湾沿岸历史最悠久的节日。艺术节提供了世界旅行的氛围，它给人们机会与来自70多个国家的人面对面交流，有机会说不同的语言，品尝美味的食物，学习地理，历史，艺术，社会学，音乐 科学，更重要的是得到我们美丽的世界和人民的鼓舞与启迪。

We have been with Mobile International Festival since 1989 representing China and Shaolin Institute at the same time.  We have had a blast.  “This is always my favorite booth for all those years” said a lady from Mobile who has been coming to the festival for more than 10 years.  It was so great hear that.  More importantly it is to see Mobile International Festival starting from very few countries to over 100 countries represented.  Each of us has a personal touch of the true diverse culture experience from each nation no matter big or small.  Shaolin Institute has always had the tradition of painting each person’s name in Chinese traditional calligraphy.

Since 1989 till now, Shaolin Institute has donated nearly 2 million U.S. dollars in various forms for the dissemination of Chinese culture, medicine and Kungfu.
